Soooo this weekend my other bff and I will be participating in HeroCon, which is a convention dedicated to the awesome online game City of Heroes/City of Villains. IF ANY OTHER NERDS HERE ARE GOING TOO TELL ME. I'll be bringing my laptop but I don't know if I'm going to have free internet access?

I'll also be doing sketches in my hotel room if anyone wants me to draw their toon...once I find out what our room number is.

Anyone else here watched it? I just finished the second season and I'm about to watch the third one. I heard it goes into the shitter within the 3-4 seasons. :< bawww
Robert Knepper as T-Bag is unbelievably sexy.


Oh and I've been getting a lot of comments asking about my name, and I've stumbled into people pronouncing my name wrong. I find this very surprising.
'Cashoo' is pronounced just like the word 'cashew'. It's just spelled differently.
Shocking, I know.
It makes me lol.

Wow, thanks for all the comments in my last journal. Over 200 comments, what's wrong with you all? I will try to reply to them all!

So, here's my cake, inspired by the cake from Portal. ---> [link]

I originally planned for it to be a two-layer cake. Once I saw how flat they were after they baked, I was very thankful that I had bought a second cake mix. This was going to be a four-layer cake. Oh boy.


My dad taking a picture of me frosting the cake. I look terribly obese for some reason. I have large hair.


All four layers, and doing the final frosting.


I've been told that the stuff on the outside of the Portal cake is burnt coconut shavings? I don't even know. It actually looks like Coco Pebbles to me. But I just decided to put brown sprinkles on there, because I don't like either of the former. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough sprinkles, so I just put it on the top.


Protip: Use white icing instead of whip cream. After we ate the cake, I had to scrape off all the whip cream, because it would spoil my cake and there was no room in the fridge. Baaaad decision on my part.


Finished! We actually didn't have any white candles, so I had to shave off the colored stripes on one of the candles we did have. Also, the cherries on the actual cake from the game are impossibly huge. They're like...cherry tomatoes or something.


And then lit!

Welp, I'm finally 18. Seventeen was a terrible, terrible year. I'm glad to move on. I've got HeroCon, moving to Colorado (), and college to look forward to. It feels like I'm starting my life over or something.
Well I'm getting a large set of ~*Copic Markers*~ today, so I was hoping that I could test them out by doing some free sketches for y'all! I can't wait to try them out.
They'll just be little headshots. Some will be grayscale, some in color...I just want to experiment with these new artistic utensils of mine.
I'll do...18! Because that is just so creative.
